fished a few times with softy, del and jimmy... and kudos to them, they cleaned up after themselves...softy and del enjoy a beer of 3 slabs... take your pic, and what they carried onto the rocks came back up and went in the bin.they left the campsite cleaner than they found it.

ive got a mate in brisbane, and another in townsville... sadly they both say, WE have it made here for fishing from land...they do catch fish, but the kind of fish they like to catch requires a boat.one of them fishes real deep water... over 100mtrs on a shelf... hard to feel the bites, and from about half way up, the fight is boring once their swim bladder comes outsurvival rate for fish released is not good.

thin and flexible works well... butter knifes work fantastic...for gutting i use a 4inch ling staysharp knife.. works a treeat on cutting the backboane to get the blood out.
