hey not all the braid on there is crap but some is, my mate got spectra extreme in 60lb 500mtr spool and was REALY crap knots didnt hold for shit, get one little birds nest and the braid starts to frayup and get loose.i got "pex" in 50lb 500mtr spool and it works great knots hold realy well doesnt get windknots has no memory at all, only bad thing is after afew big fish puting tension on the eyes the colour starts to come out and leaves colourd gunk on your eyes,i think its just in who you get the braid from i can get the sellers I.D that sold me the good stuff if you want

did you try using a loop knot? i find that when you tie lures with a blood knot etc. it can affect the swimming i allways make sure its got abit of play , it helps them swim more natural

haha yea think ill mainly baloon it out.not sure what rod yet spartan im using a 7' azigale cheapy for rays but once i get some spare cash i'll get a 5.8' game but till then its a shelf ornament.

im taking it in on the 15th to get rebuilt and a new drag set put in.yea i'll go mono 50-70lb i can see what people mean i have got some nice cuts from braid i dont realy wana see what happens when your directing line onto your spool and the shark/ray wants to make a sudden fast run :S hahacheers scott.
