na def not a gummy or a wobbegong. yer should of ey branzino to late now. ive never heard of a carpet shark so ill look it up. it did have a big mouth wen it was open im thinking a rare type of 7 gill ill chuck up a pic of a 7 gill the body features look so much alike. same fin positions and sort of the same pattern.

haha branzino im pretty sure its not a cat shark because there alot smaller and they are darker in colour. o well who knows haha. and yer def not a dog shark. cheers tp

cheers guys yer i just froze the whole body but should be good ill just thore it out and cut it up when i want my first meal lol. its my first shark that i have decided to keep to eat. it was a 4ft 7 gill so should be good didnt smell of amonia at all. cheers tp

hey guys i took all the fins off, bleed the shark and gutted it. i was just wondering i herd that freezing the body whole for a week or 2 will help take the amonia out of the meat as well. is this true?cheers tp

hey guys so sunday morn me and 5 mates head off for a mates bday down cape jervis. we arrive on time at 7 with our skipper with the boat ready to go great the day was looking good. we headed out to our first spot. i had taken my own gear out there with my own rigs because thats how i like to fish. i rigged up a single 5/0 on my top set of hooks and 2 6/0 on my bottom set righto i was ready to fish.my mate daniel got the first red just on legal nm after that wrasse had moved in after a bit we made a move first drop down i caught a double header off undersized ruggers after that they started get

the 3rd to last is a zebra fish the second to last is a sweep. and the last is a weedy whiting im pretty sure dont hold me to that tho cheers tp

nice there uhf covered it well. and its not jus snapper that u can get on the jigs i caught at least 8 different species on a 100g lucanus jig so hope u do well mate. (even the jus legals will smash these jigs so imagine when a 20lber sees it haha)

hey mate ive only done a lil bit of jigging for snapper because ive only been out fishn for snaps a number of times but every time ive been invited ive had success. first id be looking at how hard the water runs at your spot and if there is not much current id be using a 60-80g jigg i love the lucanus jig. nothing else i can really say other then choose your jig for the depth of water and the water movement cheers tp.

i could save for a saltiga but i dont see the need if im going to be using it around the elements of sand and salt water haha it jus seems like i would have to baby it on the beach haha so i would go for somethin cheaper and ballsy like a spinfisher haha cheers tp
