  17. Fishnfreaki can put you onto some pretty reliable spots around Arno Bay, all under 1km from shore, i have fished them for years & never seen Greg Norman.most have fish all year round, bigger fish during summer months.give me a yell if coming over this waycheersBigAsh
  18. Ospraymines very similar 53cm & about 150mt from shore at redbanks 5km Nth of Arno Bay.took a full unweighted pillie meant for a snapper. the other one in the pic is wellover legal length 32cm i think, doesn't look like it though {SMILIES_PATH}/grin.gif {SMILIES_PATH}/grin.gif.cheersBigAsh
  19. guys the squidgie fish 100mm killer tomato is my favourite for snapper at the moment.almost anything works during the day but lowlight conditions to after dark the killer tomato still works where others stop getting touches for some reason.i'm talking 90-100ft of water. yet to get a mullie on 1 though, we do get the odd mullie off one of the local wrecks we fish on bait.2nd favourite is squidgie shad 125mm white lightningcheersBigAsh
  20. Howdymayhem of a 4 way hookup.2 fish landed smallest over 20lb, 1 lost boatside estimated mid 30's & the 4th said seeya & never got turned around & eventually bust off amungst the huge school belowcheersBigAshhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tEYKTKjnS0
  21. It don't take a scientist to work out which of these snapper weighs the most.initial weight on bottom fish just over 16.5kgs on a set of scales that weigh 1kg light at 15kg.
  22. the 20kg snapper that you may have heard of may have been this one.initially weighed at 19kg, we did a scales check with local butcher shop & it converted to a fraction over 20kg.(checked on 3 sets of scales)112cm long & fat from head to tail. we also got anothet in the mid 16kg bracket same day which was a nobber & a fraction longer 20mins earlier & lost another boatside in a 4 way hookupcaught by Stuart Sluggett from Mildura on Fuzzells Fishing Adventures out deep from Arno Bay.CheersBigAshps not trick photography here, Big fish being held by a Big Man.
  23. yeah thanx Big Alforgot to mention for the challenge & fun of it all using soft plastics for snapperis by far more fun than using bait.lighter outfit, lighter line, no mess = more fun, more of a challenge & can outfish bait on those hard to get a bite days easily. gotta to be seen to be believedcheersBigAshhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-MPO8LShvU
