Yeah mate i will actually do that, if we dont get anymore boys from here the comp will just fill it with outsiders, but 11 of us is not bad which means the battle for the squid jag hahaha will be between us all from S&H and then we all have to beat nick maxwell and dr dreamteam and 5 outsiders to win the comp all good i think/hope someone from here wins itits good fun and a good shit stir lol. Good topic as i have never worried about lure fishing before, but have been thinking lately of maybe trying it in west lakes. Im trying to catch ST's on bait but sick n tired of baby bream getting there first so thought maybe a lure for St's might be the go as to which one god noes

Yeah i got quite a few of them, i usually freeze up some Jaffas and set up a bit of a target range in my back yard. I got mine as i have a huge gumtree out the front and whenever im working in the garden the bloody birds go crazy with there alarm calls so i fire a few around the place and sends em scattering. I used to get mine from that new tackle shop on port road beverly next to the pet shop and supermarket cant remember the name, but they dont sell them anymore but there salisbury store does, i get my from mount barker now when visiting friends up that way allways plenty in stock and jus

After fishing for the last 30 years i landed my first flathead in fact 2, one after the other at semaphore jetty this morning what a beauty lol. Well they can only get bigger from here and thats right because my 2nd one was even 3mm bigger again, lol

Thx BoysI have fished and caught heaps of salmon but never used lures for them always patanosta rigs. Thanks for the info, so they like shallow water as well, get them in nice and close to shore?i tried for 3 hours at point turton jetty after the park owner made me a snook rig and was a mad snook fisher said they are a smart and tricky fish to catch but can catch 7 in a session got me pumped but ive only ever caught 1 snook before and that was on a gar/tommie rig with size 10 hooks so he musta been hungry or stupidPlus i really love eating snook but have never thought about catching them, so i
