didnt really fish too much till late summer so i wasted most of it but other than that caught a few fish but nothing to go and brag about unfortunately.

the water there isnt overly deep but to get ur bait out u can float it out under a ballon, the choice is urz mate.

ye inoe where your coming from about those snap swivels thow not the most reliable thing in the world.. not alll of the wind on's come with snap swivels mine did coz i got it off someone lol. 150 pound wind on leader should be ample for kingies and id be going 100 - 150 pound trace

hay mate with ur wind on theres a snap swivel on the end of it, so with that u attach another length of line too it either steel trace or mono. with your ballon ud wont to be putting it after ur wind on id say but not to sure on that one.

depending how far you want to travel but if u like stingrays ud like port giles jetty hehe... ur almost always guarenteed a ray there dude, i dont think there has been a time there i havnt caught one..

grange jetty is where i hooked up on a few of them,...i only use rays for shark bait thow...outer harbour has a few decent sized rays around..saw some blokes hook and land one today.
