Cheers for the replies guys,Lee as soon as it was in the net he got the low down,he kept one that was 41 for a feed and ten minutes after knocking it off he felt guilty, said he will never do it again and while eating it the day after he felt even more guilty but none of it went to waste.Hard lesson to learn and one he wont forget, felt good teaching the old man something.Brooksey that cod was my B'day present to him two years ago,best present he ever got,, he was stoked to say the least.This cod was caught in August 2007

  8. You should of seen the leader, 8-8 ft long and not an inch of it wasn't s shredded but the Nitlon still held together,

Took my old man fishing yesterday, first bream he ever catches on a lure.....51cm.I said you know how long i been fshing for that fish???I am used to it though, first time i took him cod fishing he nails a 105cm, first time fishing with plastics he nails a 54cm Flatty, first time fishing for School mullys he naisl a legal first cast.I did up my PB by 2cm to 49 but that +50 still eludes me.On the mat the other pics will have to wait
  10. The first fish i remember catching was a callop and the first fish i'm told by the olds was a trout from the kersbrook trout farm.

  15. Nah mate didn't come through,I have a custom i got built, a hot rods superstalker, was originally 5'6" had the tip snapped off so now is 5'2". I ogot it built for tight situations like under the port structure or in the torrens for trout when there is bugger all room for a cast.Would be ideal for what ya want, was built on a Loomis GLX or GL3, deluxe camo grip grip.fuji guides, its one of a kind.Still an awesome rod even if it has lost a few inches, tip is still super sensitive.I'll get some shots and chuck it up... just waiting for the camera batteries to charge.
  16. Used them off west beach a few years ago, leagl size of course only to hook up and then have the fish run staright back into the rocks,,, you guessed it bust off.
  17. 500 kg black marlin, 100kg yellowfin, 3kg bream,10 kg callop.25kg mully,10 kg carp on a lure got heaps more, like a soft palstic snapper land based etc
