  2. I'm the same as Brenton I've gotta Husky :icon_e_wink: good jacket keeps ya dry and warm and has zips under the arms to open for ventilation. Up the river a few weeks ago it teemed with rain and I was as dry as a nun's......never mind Husky gets my vote :icon_e_biggrin:

  6. I gave it a test run yesterday and I give it a thumbs up :icon_e_biggrin: very impressive, my accuracy improved and it cast the little hard bodied lures with hardly any effort. 10. G'day all,I was talking to Yak(AttaknTackleRat) the other week in regards to painting your lures with a texta or nail polish to get the colour you want. 14. Correct M_C :icon_e_wink: Jackalls are about the 30 mark, these are a cheap imitation which makes them perfect for chucking them amongst the snags, better to loose a $5 lure than a $30 :icon_e_biggrin:As for were I got 'em, I wont post up the store as I don't wish to detract any business from the forums fine sponsors :icon_e_biggrin: I can PM it to ya

  20. Yes plenty have used those types of SP's for Bream and with good success :icon_e_wink: With this type of SP you have to do a lift and wind retrieve, you cast out, let it sink, wind up the slack, lift the rod tip, let it sink, wind up the slack, and so on. This type of SP requires movement to get the tail twirling. :icon_e_biggrin: You need a jig head so the SP sinks and gives the tail some action. No :icon_e_ugeek:Come along to the Strike & Hook Bream social day and I'll be there helping the land based Bream fisho's, along with 'Cookie' from the ST Kilda Tackle and Tucker and many top
  21. Some very nice Callop there Finatic by you and the old man --> .This one of mine was caught at the Wentworth Callop Classic '07 and is the first Callop I have ever caught 44cm weighing in at 1.95kg, caught on a Killalure Flatz Ratz http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/x2KAWy8G__Callop1.JPG[/img]
  22. I was in the same 'boat' (or Yak!!!! {SMILIES_PATH}/grin.gif) as you FF and I used to think the same thing {SMILIES_PATH}/embarrassed.gif. I just kept tying, listening to all the top Bream blokes, got some decent lures, DVDs, Mags and got out on the water with a few mates as much as I could, and don't worry mate it will turn around one day and you'll be saying 'All I got today was a few legal Bream' {SMILIES_PATH}/cool.gif {SMILIES_PATH}/grin.gif
  23. No sorry FF, the rules are the same as Bream Classics and ABT {SMILIES_PATH}/undecided.gif
  24. Yak from Tackle World Salisbury showed me the new issue last night. It looks great {SMILIES_PATH}/wink.gif I'll be getting a copy next week (pay day {SMILIES_PATH}/embarrassed.gif) for sure {SMILIES_PATH}/grin.gif There is a great article in the mag on catching Callop on lures by 'Weaver' who is a great Callop fisherman {SMILIES_PATH}/wink.gif and with the 'Who's Yella' Callop Classic coming in Sept at Cobdogla (have a go its great fun {SMILIES_PATH}/wink.gif) the article will make excellent reading with some handy tips {SMILIES_PATH}/wink.gif.
