Hi,I have a friend of mine who has just picked up some old fishing reels. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about them.Both are made of wood and look like an alvey. I own the 1000 size reel and 7'2 1 piece 1-3 kg rod.It is my preferred bream set up and I have had mine close to 2 years I would say.Balance perfectly, same gears as stella (if im not mistaken) though discontinued now.If you can get one on the cheap go for it.

Myself and my missus both have hornes waders and have never had a problem! Get the owner or his daughter to fit you and perfect Never had a problem with mine. We both have blundstones on the waders though not the pimple soles

Dont know of any raking sites south know of plenty north within 90 mins of adelaide I know of some popular ones and not so popular ones

You could try Noarlunga Jetty in about a months or so time Same with Second Valley Jetty and Rapid Bay.North any of the jetties; Grange, Semaphore etc in about 2 weeks or so should be ideal :)Further north any Yorkes Jetty will produce during summer :)Hope this helps. Raking is a different story
