does anyone know if you can fish in north haven inside in the harbour area. on ruff days I have been thinking because I have a small tinny fishing in there sheltered, I fish it fairly ruff, but I'm disabled with sproriatic arthritis bad its a psoriasis skin disease I have bad, 75% of my skin is covered and I won the lottery in psoriasis and got the type that attacks my tendons and joints, if I anchor in waves is like ive been in a car crash and can hardly turn my head, without all the other pain thrown in all over, so I was thinking in north haven be better for me, I like catching squid, and smaller fish as in whiting and flat head, I couldn't pull in a big fish. I'm content on what I call normal fishing, enough pain just doing that. I cant find anything written saying you cant fish in there. does anyone know at all?

yer the torch must float and work, I don't think they can book you if it works there is no legislation to say how bright it must be though. but common sense if he said put a better battery in it ect that's all. if he did, then he did his job. not a big deal. not worth getting in argument over. I had a fire extinguisher in green, 2 weeks later I was checked, was red, but I was not fined, I went got another, took the one out that was checked, it was green again, like really!!!! that's a first that's happened. has that ever happened to any of you guys before? I lay mine down maybe a false reading.

well i still come back and fish here, i moved back to vic, i leave boat here as i come back see the kids and grand kids. s.a the dear state i call it now, lived here 20 years was far cheaper than vic, um no more you pay double electricity easy double boat rego far more for car rego, i pay $300 for my jeep, s,.a was about $800 my tinny here is about $90 my tinny in vic $35. boat rego was doubled in s.a. to pay for the boat ramps. now we also have to pay to use the ramps, i refuse and use the old crappy ramp where they load unload cars in port river. I get my feet wet, beats paying the fee I'm already paying on my boat here. its disgraceful how the government is screwing everyone over, even the pension concession is pathetic in s.a.  this is the only state where emergency levy is paid and no one on a pension is entitled ambulance cover free. every other state pensioners are free ambo cover. s.a. people are getting ripped off and doesn't matter if liberal or labour, its the same thing just different name.

they doubled our boat rego and we have to pay to use the facilities we are already paying for it stinks. how many years now have regos been doubled, has anyone actually looked into if money has been recouped yet. been at least 10 years now? my same boat in vic is $35 a year trailer the same, so half s.a prices. same with everything here we pay far more than other states, no consideration if your on a pension living below poverty line ect. country is going to crap, and now marine parks every where. when is it going to stop. 

emailed guy at plano he sending me another lid said sorry about the broken lid cant get better than that.

got the lid for tackle box today, so very happy with that, lid is broken but just a corner peice very small does not afect the lid in any way, i think that the 777 is not made any more i cant see it on the site sals list, so maybe thats all they had laying around, but hey im not complaining lid free, and really a can exploding was not really plaos fault with the lid breaking, i would get onto BCF and say whats up, i had my part in 4 days from them getting my email.

that was monday the 30th not last monday too. so today is first working day after i emailed plano. i will let you know if i get it this week or not.

hi guys and lady's my son had one of those sprays you spray on soft plastics, well he had it in his tackle box were most people of course keep them, he had aerosol type i have the pump one, went out to his boat and there was hooks on the concrete, all through the boat, looked in the boat and thought what the hell, lid missing of his plano 777 tackle box, thought how could that have broken, as it was in peices every were.started picking up stuff and found the aerosol that had blown up, the day was 30 degrees, can said dont expose over 40 deg, but i can understand in the box lid clear plastic (were he had it) would must have got hot still, and possibly build up over a few days too. 2 days before my missus was sitting on the box fishing in the boat.so anyone who has one in there box just be warned please, flying hooks ect could have ended up in eyes, and if kids close i would hate to think. some takle ended up 15 feet away from boat on the ground.my son said oh well went and got a new plano box, he lost a leg 3 years ago he has more money than me, i said if you dont mind can i have your box, he said yes of course, the plano lids clip on and off, so i emailed plano, and told them exactly what happened, no lies told just plain truth all i wanted was price for a replacement lid, well they emailed me back next day, said send them my address and they will send me a lid for free the same week.that is what i call a great company, how many would do that for anyone, it was not Plano's fault at all just an accident. i am very impressed with the outcome, i will buy Plano again for sure.
