In saying that, BCF still dont have everything. I want to Shimano Aernos 4000, they havent got it. Want to match it to a Samaki Allure 902, they havent got it either and yet i have a $25 gift card i need to spend there.

Just curious, what is the difference between the allure 9ft rod and the zing 902 9ft rod. To me they are the same. Same length, same action, same line rating, same number of sections.

Is the samaki rods thin like a normal rod or thick like a surf rod?? I am wanting a thin rod which is good for casting lures.

So I am lookign for a rod made by a well known brand e.g. daiwa, shimano, ugly stick. More importantly, a rod that is 8-9 ft in length with a rating of about 4-8kg. I plan on using it for salmon and tailor but wont be using it entirely for surf. A price range of about $100-$150 Can anyone helpme please??

Not really a fan of Ebay. trying to buy a Shimano Aeros 4000. Only 1 person is selling 1 in Australia, the rest are from Malaysia and Japan

Pretty close to my set up, every things the same except I have a Penn Spinfisher 850. Other than that, completely the same. Let us know how you go as well.

Yea I was referring to the Starlo Stix, but the Catana rods are very similar. Are the new rods a bit rubbish or are they still good quality, just not quiet as good as the older model

type in fowlers bay and it comes up heaps blurry though. Still better than GE

With alveys, do you have to lay the line on the reel like bigger overheads?
