looks like plenty of action today on Gulf St Vincent...heap's of boat's on the whiting grounds off Brighton and looks like plenty of squid inside the cliffs at Hallett cove.

Question if they do catch a shark to a baited drum and it dies from struggling. Won't the decaying carcass of a large animal attract more and even bigger sharks?? Just saying... morons.Of course its the Jetty fisherman who is to blame for the sharks being around, with his one hook in the ocean according to the state government. :c Leave the shark in his domain. Exercise caution when swimming and surfing.

as usual, the honest majority are affected by the dishonest, disrespectful minority and the cop's are too under resourced to catch the little bastards..we should catch them and invite them to come fishing...as the crab bait..!

well launched yesterday at 6am and witnessed the results of these scumbags.there was a guys car with trailer on the back which had the drivers window smashed in, perhaps its time to get a petition going to council regarding security upgrade, bloody scumbags

definately worth dropping the tinny in at the mundoo...I've done this plenty of times, when you get to the coorong turn to port (away from the mouth) and head for the big sandhills the "sahara's" good camping spots along there too...!

Normally I cut the line and let the fish swim away, but now i use a Slammo ended hook disgorger swallowed hooks out in 2 seconds.

stand about ankle deep in the water, about half tide is best...then "do the twist" (just like you did last summer) up come the cockles throw them in a net or bag, something that won't get washed away in the back-wash..(kid's are good for holding and grabbing the get away's...keep them in an esky in salt water till you freeze them..if you're gonna eat them...purge them in fresh SALT WATER overnight..cheers
