Bit of a feed at least. In the right conditions you can get mulloway snapper sharks and kingfish.

When the marina was first built, we used to get schoolies inside the marina. Right next to the pontoon that the KI ferry used to dock onto.The pontoon is gone, but the concrete that it used to be bolted to is still there.Hot Feb arvos as the sun went down, pillies for bait.On the outside, cast out a Tommy under a float and get the squid whilst you burley up the gar n Tommys.

I was in the same position as you and have just returned from my first Yalata trip, its is much better than dog fence, we camped at tijiti but drove to different beaches depending on the days conditions, we pulled good fish from bobs, jaxons and geues, good luck

IMHO without a doubt its Jaxsons.Two nice sized holes out the front, plus you aren't sharing with anyone else - unless of course people come along in quads. Its reasonably sheltered and only a quick slide down one small dune to the beach...Its the only beach our crew pulled Snapper from, and we've got plenty of big Mulloway and sharks from right in front of the campsite...

The mullies are around already! Just not in big numbers I've heard it's been good at 42 lately, so I went last night after work and got this one, went 23lb, 100cm long, I was chuffed!!
