I love salmon fishing at Locks, makes me want to pack up the car and head over for a couple of days.

Finally caught a feed today.2 good size KG whiting and a monster squid.Good to get out on the water again.

Definetly need to be carefull where you drop the anchor there, also worth trying the stanvac blocks and barges for Snapper aswell.

What the deal with this snapper course, what does this Wayne smith know that others who have books about snapper not know?Has he got a book about it.I would be more inclined to shell out $25-$30 for a book than $300-$500 for this course.Has anyone out there done it who would like to shed some light on this?Is the course worth the cash?

What is this about the berley, should we be using crab, scallops and mussels for berley?

Also heard there where a couple landed off the end of the port noarlunga jetty after the last Blow just before easter.

So how do you set up berley trail, just chop it up and throw over the side?

Been looking at getting one of those Burley Buckets with mucher to attach to the transom of my boat to try and get a good burley trail happening.Does anyone use one of these and are they any good? I have just been using the old floating plastic type up until now but I am of the opinion the mulcher will have a better effect.Also which is better stainless or plastic??

Went out to wet the line and came home with a few squid happy for the effort, no fish but there is always next time....

As I am new to metro fishing and the water looks fantastic out today was wondering if it is worth wetting a line as the is not much tidal flow today. Never really bothered much with fishing a dodge tide in the upper spencer gulf when a dodge.
