if fisheries are so under staffed do police have the power to hand out fines for these offences if so who do we call if not why not the only way people will learn is with tough penaltys .. :police:...it does not bother me as such as i am 99%boat based but i dont wish to c the option closed down for my kids by these either ...so again who do you call who will actualy do antthing about it

i agree we should ban fishing-crabbing from our jetty s lets give our kids one less harmless healthy thing to do that hurts no one and get them out on the streets doin drugs-grafiti-vandalizing instead wat sort of self ritious society do we live in to stop a kid-familly doin some thing they love and bringing them closer together .this is a crock of sh4t ...even if it is just being discussed im discusted they would even think it was a sensible idea...

mate bought the fire blood 2500 teamed it with a three piece t curve travel rod i cal mine sex on a stick wat a pair if you travel with your tools a lot i highly recomend a look at these rods and teamed with i know this sounds bad diawa 15 pound surf braid (the thinnest i could find )makes fishing a dream a mate of mine used mine for an hour last night and is out to purchase one this week .. ;D ;D ;D

well thanks for all the advise but for now i think were all safe to go swimming if the burly trail we laid didnt attract them then nothing will ..but fear not i will be back out there trying this fri ...

cheers guys was tossing up beetween ther and the torrens outlet but hasnt been much flow through there any way so the saint might be the go any tips on rigs never really chased sharks before just got new rod and reel of layby got a shimano tyrnos 30II two speed reel with 80 pound braid and a diawa deep zone 24 k roller tip rod just need advise on say wire trace length hook size bait ....dont ask for much do i ... :icon_e_biggrin: :icon_e_biggrin:

heading out fri arvo-night to chase some sharks (in the boat) was wondering where best to head and how far out need to go to get best results...any other tips would be appreciated to eg..best baits..rigs..etc

can anyone fill me in on the rules as to how many nets you can have in your boat i know it changes if you have rods on board but i keep hearing dif storeys some say three some say four thanks again in advance for any info ;D p.s just in case i wasnt clear that was crab nets :

i dont know about you guys but i would rather catch any fish than no fish and any fish im not adding to the dinner table or using for bait gets returned it not rocket science now is it one day when the irresponsible have over fished every other species they may to enjoy catching wat they now class as pests > >

really only used bait so far but am but am starting to get interested in trying some lures the more i c them working the more im keen to try them makes sense i suppose
