  1. Mate, that is insane! Cracking fish. Be tough to ever out do that!
  2. Neil is using a Daiwa TD-S Surf Rod in that Yalata video FushLups' date=' I would be saying the 12ft 20-40lb H model. Not sure if they are still available in Australia but can be obtained from the u.s.BTW - There is no sensor surf reel.[/quote']Yeah my bad mate, I knew there wasn't a sensor surf reel I meant the saltiga surf ;)I'm sure the sensor and the td-s rods would be very similar but cheers for letting me know I'll see what else I can find out - have found them outside of Australia as you mentioned. Looks like a good balance with the saltiga z4500 which is what I want to match. Otherwise
  3. Thinking daiwa sensor surfSS1302HRS - Length 13ft - 2 Piece - Line Class 20 to 40lb - Cast Weight 3 to 6oz
  4. Thinking ahout using mine as a surf reel, can't see why not.... any ideas which rod this might match up with well? Was thinking saltiga sensor surf but they are more designed for the sensor surf reel which I think is much lighter than my Z4500.... any one else use this reel for surf fishing? What do you have it matched up with?Targetting mullies and big teeth, need to throw big grapnels and big baits
  5. Jimbo! Great catching up Friday night buddy... You got lucky, lures weren't producing the goods for us, too much weed and found it difficult in the pitch black. Would be a hell of a lot easier lure fishing with a full moon.Flick me a msg next time you are heading out. I'm planning on hitting the onk Thurs Fri this week....
  6. Great work screamin! Now to crack a meter fish
  7. Cheers man, will keep that in mind. Thanks for the offer I actually claim my lenses through insurance extras not sure that RX safety would be a reputable dealer in order to do this though
  8. Couple of questions:Does anyone put prescriptions in theirs? I am short sighted so need lenses for distance...Do you prefer a mirrored lens?I have a pair of oakleys at the moment, but they are fast becoming scratched up
  9. Great report, and even better pic. :woohoo: :woohoo:
  10. Darren, those prawn flies really do look amazing mate!!You tempt me to buy a fly outfit and give it a go!!
  11. VERY old bump here, but just brought some Sunline super PE in white 8lb for my new gekka mx 2004, looking forward to spooling up and reporting back. Looks the goods in white me thinks
  12. Mate, that's terrible sorry to hear. Stupid question but could you claim anything on insurance maybe?
