Guest
With the popularity of deep water reef fishing these days, thought i'd start a thread with a couple of species i like catching and more like eating!I've never really caught either species in the super XOS size though. Guest
Yeah definitely try them out. Theyre fairly easy to catch if you have access to a boat with a decent sounder and plotter. In my opinion there's no better eating fish than nannygai with blue morwong a close second. whyallabrad 0
Two great fish of our reefs, most of my offshore stuff is off coffins or sceale bay. Caught heaps of nannys with the best ones in the 2.5 - 3kg bracket and my best mowies are around the 3kg mark, but as you know the hooks pull on them pretty easy and i reckon i've lost bigger ones.....doh!
