Tacklebags 404
Sorry...um...but I don't eat dogs! I do eat fish though...how unfortunate for them! Serving fish in restaurants at Sea World is like dishing up poodle burgers at a dog show, an animal activist group says. http://www.australianews.com.au/story?cityid=d1de82e1-fce9-4f45-9541-79d83e888155&storyid=b50bdf64-a83b-4d81-9981-e85da320bfc1TB
kon 300
PETA = religion.Surprised, I am... I like that Chris Irwin dude if his humour was intended;"I think it's a fairly flaky point they're trying to make," he said. Sea World has declined to comment on the demands.Probably because they`re still
Pussy_Willow 0
Why are these people even listened to! They should be dismissed as freaks and routinely ignored in the future. Looks like Sea world has taken this approach good on em. I wonder when they will start complaining about all the hot dogs and burgers sold at the royal show with all of the pig and cattle competitions there and all.

Ugly4Life 41
Seen this one? - http://www.peta.org/b/thepetafiles/archive/2012/02/06/historic-day-for-seaworld-orcas-in-court.aspx?PageIndex=2&CommentModerated=true#commentsWhat a joke! It's absurd that people are allowed to waste so much time and money with this garbage. "It's a new frontier in civil rights," Kerr said in his summary of the case. Slavery does not depend on the species of the slave any more than it depends on race, gender, or ethnicity, he argued. "Coercion, degradation, and subjugation characterize slavery, and these orcas have endured all three." - My emphasis. So animals are part of 'civil society' now? To be given the same civil rights as the rest of us? So I should be setting my dog a place at my table, complete with knife and fork and his choice of steak? I'd like to see the empirical evidence showing that Orca's are sentient. You can't degrade (I assume they are using this word in place of humiliate) something that has no sense of self-worth and you can't coerce something that is not cognizant of self.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coercionhttp://dictionary.reference.com/browse/degrading

kon 300
For a full hour, Judge Miller asked thoughtful questions of both sides and listened as Jeff Kerr, general counsel to PETA, spoke in behalf of the orca plaintiffs. Whilst trying to keep a straight face and not go :vomit: perchance?Only in America, as they say...lunatics/asylum..."It's a new frontier in civil rights," Kerr said in his summary of the case. Slavery does not depend on the species of the slave any more than it depends on race, gender, or ethnicity, he argued. "Coercion, degradation, and subjugation characterize slavery, and these orcas have endured all three." Let`s see now - taken to the logical conclusion, using that "reasoning", no more- fish tanks - pets- zoos- horse riding- any farmed livestock of course- even eggs for breakfastOh wait, all of the above are PETA through and through...
