Guest undertaker
Well, after a bit of reading and talking to various fisho's,I've taken a side step from my "stone-age star drags" and splurged on the TLD......got it at a bargain price $399......wow! ;)Must admit, looks a mighty fine machine.......can't wait to get it spooled up,and out for a play.Might be a few weeks away for me yet,but Stenhouse won't be going anywhere too soon.Hopefully,it'll get a good work-out on debut. ;D

Guest undertaker
Yeah you're right.....the 50 does feel a bit "wirey".......I've got 30 on a Senator 4/0.......nice,casts easily.......reasonably flexy.
The Guru 0
Hey Undertaker. I also have a tld50 and reckon they are good reels for the money. I run hybrid 10kg on a tld15 and the line is bloody awsome stuff. You should be able to land some monster sharks on it. When I first got it I knew it was gonna take a while to catch something big on it.

fishnfreak 0
Nice reels guys, i was looking at one over the last couple of days on a beastmaster 24kg rod for a nice 500bucks. But i ended up going for a Tyrnos 30 on a TCurve Tyrnos heavy. I reckon it was the rod that sold it for me. That, and the anti-reverse on the reel.Plus it is shiny
