tenoayell 0
Heaps of Jumping Mullet in Thevenard next to Ceduna. Tried soft plastic lure but no luck. Chuck some bread but not interested. Any advice on how to catch them? These buggas are big up to 4lbs and just jumping over the place on shallow water (0.5M).

brenton 637
I've caught a couple on small squidgy wrigglers in bloodworm and 1 on tiemco stick minnows(Actually this one got off at my feet) but i wouldn't use either if i was targeting them, probably bread, 1 gent or a small piece of green plastic bag under a float to match the depth they are cruising at. cheers brenton

GDK 0
Try an unweighted gent on really light floating line or have you tried a floating fly outfit? watch them for a while and see what they are feeding on and try to mimic (as close as)...Cheers
tenoayell 0
Cheers for the tips!!!They are almost every in the shallow water from 10 to 20 meters offshore. And they are as size of a salmon...
Knackers 696
Mate,I caught a heap at Fowlers Bay in the shallows this winter. I used a typical gar rig. I only fished for them when they were active and used a heap of berley, chicken pellets in my mix of tuna/pilchard oil. Was throwing out handfuls of pellets as well. Bait - used gents and small strips of squid. They came on the bite really well.
