fridge 6
got a problem with nitlon flurocarbon leader 14lbhave 4kg power pro braid (but looks lighter compared to fins)and when using an albright knot the leader is breaking at the knot even on casting.bloody frustrating as i was under the impression it was a good brand and thought i should go that way as was always using nylon and had a couple of knots pull apart.any pointers more than welcome
Ugly4Life 41
how many turns are you doing for the albright? I use a minimum of 10 and probably more if the diameters of the lines are significantly different. Could try using a double uni knot instead of the albright?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WigqdKpE7M fridge

King Monkey 0
I use Seaguar Grandmax FX fluorocarbon leader, attached to braid by double uni knot, hasn't failed yet (and never will..........................touch wood)Monkey fridge
fridge 6
what weight are we talkingyeah i like the the look of the uni knot,i have a tendency to think that the power pro braid is applying to much pinch? pressure on the leader, cant see that happening with the uni knot. samboman 319
I use 4lb leader 4lb braid for all my bream, reddie and trout fishing... And have caught 1m+ mullys on 10lb leader 4lb braid.... all using the 5 surgeons knot, very easy to tie and stong...Sambo fridge
