Fish ID - Lower Yorke Peninsular

Recommended Posts

Hi all,Just returned from a trip down to the Lower Yorke Peninsular with the tinny.Launched the boat with an offshore wind which then quickly turned into an onshore breeze..... always the way. Hit spot X, 1 x 45 cm whiting straight up, thought "we're on here". No luck, the others must not have read the script.Fished a couple of other spots, couple of undersize snappper, usual dog sharks / skates, then pulled up the attached. Never seen one before. Any ideas? 30 - 40cm long.Ended up with 3 x whiting and that was about all. Did have fun fighting a large eagle ray (got the sweats up pulling him in) and a 5 foot gummy shark - nasty fighters they are, had me around the anchor rope, berley pot etc.Cheers
