Cal 480
I am pretty sure its a Bellbrook, believe it or not I have a red and white one in the dark depths of a tacklebox somewhere.
archerfish 685
Agree with Cal - looks suspiciously like a Bellbrook to me too... Dunno whether they were made in Japan, though. Back in the day (1960's to 70's), they were the "go-to" lure for Barra up in North Queensland. I still have a black with white stripes model in a tackle box somewhere. archerfish 685
Just grabbed this off the net: http://bimberi.australialisted.com/2611/hunting-fishing/vintage-bellbrook-the-super-lure-william-southam_18419928.html It seems the Bellbrooks were made in Artamon NSW. TBR - is your lure in question definitely made in Japan? I saw in Big W the other day a Bellbrook rip-off produced by Outback. Cheers af

The Bream Reaper 103
Wrong hardware.....
archerfish 685
Just dragged out my Bellbrook and checked it and it certainly has different hardware, as you have noted, TBR. ChuckT's example certainly seems closer to the mark. Cheers af The Bream Reaper
