Steve-Bream-Fishing 4
I need the tip fixed on one of my rods, who can help? It has some sentimental value as it was the first 'bream' rod I ever brought ;)Cheers ;D http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/ffyMaFlC__Tip.JPG[/img]
Cal 480
Thats an easy one Lazz, hold the tip with a pair of pliers, then with a lighter gently put heat underneath it and pull it off when hot.Take the tip into Kims and he will have one there, line it up and glue it back on with araldite.Alternatively take the rod in there and they will do the same thing very cheap and it will take all of 5 mins.Cheers
Shark_Fisho 1
Burn the tip with a lighter then use some pliers and pull it off, get some hot glue or araldite and light that and put that over the end of the black where the eyes goes and slip on the new tip and line it up and wipe the excess off and let it dry
Steve-Bream-Fishing 4
Some good ideas fellas, but I've never attempted any sort of rod repairs and don't want to stuff it so I'd rather have it done by a professional

weaver 271
Got to start some where lazy, if ya stuff it up just re heat it and the glue will meltthen re glue it.Get 5 minute araldite so you have time to play to get it right,24 hour Araldite is to long and super glue is to quick if ya not careful
