Karma point. :cheer:thanks BigFishwe landed 3 of these beauties & all were released & i hope they are still swimming around. I've had a few tips from some site members about using weighted setups to get them back down to the bottom. the biggest 1 we had to use a berley pot fulla snapper leads & small garfish hook to get it back to the bottom the other 2 just swam off after being revived.these were the first sambo's i'd seen myself, pretty happy to get a big 1 1st up, we didn't get any footage of this 1.cheersBigAsh Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Good release too..One thing i have made up for this is a release weight on a 200lb handline.. like a big ass sinker with a barbless hook hanging out the top.. then the line is rigged so it pulls from then bend in the hook and pulls the hook out when you apply pressure..
