adamibinfishin 224
howdy mate, probably one of the best 30lb outfits you could own would be 3500 saltiga game with matching saltiga rod but the price is getting up there.another one would be 3500 certate hd with the catalina nabura stick which is imported, awesome outfit aswell.also depends on your budget and if you want mainly a landbased outfit or boat outfit.i run both these outfits and you can do anything with them from jigging to baitfishing.for a land based option for the certate i bought a infeet 9ft specialist lure rod which is rated to 30lb,goodluck with the purchase.cheers adamibinfishin fullysikwog

pjohn 0
Hi fullysikwog,I am goinging to do some thing simalar but use for land based bait fishing. The blank will be 12 foot surf, can cast 95/150 grams and line weight 15/17 kgs.The reel will either spin/overhead.So spin could be Penn, overhead my be Avet, i will listen to all ideas on reels. Thanks in advance Pjohn
Nikhum 16
FSW.. seems like you need a 8-9ft rod with 30lb rating with a Certate 3500!pjohn- have a look at the Seajigger 325 might be what you're looking for, not a 12 footer but more versatile.ahhh so much good tackle out there and so little money :S fullysikwog

Do you think I could use one of these to cast a lightly weighted full pilly or a whole tommy or shitty off the rocks for big reds.Could you put a small snapper lead and a decent bait on it and still get good distance??:cheer: . I just really wanna know if the lead and bait will really overload the tip and risk snapping it off...or will it be fine?My aim would be to use a Certate 4000 Hyper :woohoo: with 20lb Nitlon off the stones/beach. southie THE BANGA 2,304
my angler stealth 9ft 4kg stcik with my saros 3000 handles that no probs at all... use it with popper for kingies and ill be using it for mullies down ardrossan way 2.... if u wanted heavier just update the reel to a bit bigger one like the 4000.. but the 3000 is perfect 4 me... I've been eying one for ages.. They were primary designed for lure fishing with all the light weight components used but of course can be used with bait fishing. There's the 305, 315 and 325 for various weights and line classes. I had a feel with one a while back and its top quality nice and light.Nah wouldn't overload the tip and snap it off as long as you're within the recommended casting weight, that goes for any rod. If I do get it I'll be getting the 305 with Certate 3500hd with 20lb braid. Thatll handle your kings, mullies and whatever you want. And Damn the hyper is $$$$$
urhookedfish 12
Thanks Mate might have to wait until after xmas and go have a look for which model I want..Ive already got the Hyper (hence the picture of one in my signature pics)...Pretty happy with it...:cheer: :cheer:
