not only are fees always increasing and also marine safety ,patrol spencer gulf ramps like hunting dogs ,try to give me a warning over torch not working and if next time i am caught with a non working torch will be fined,i sad will not except cause the torch battery was flat ,and a debate started as i have torch on my phone ,,after a brief argument ,i carried on to retrieve my vessel, marine safety helped a couple of old fellas in a 4 metre tinny dock and he went right thru his boat , flares are just out of date by two weeks and was fined for that,another was fined for exceeding the 4 knots sp

i fished the parham car bodies 5 times last two seasons and have only seen 1, 6 m fishhunter with 3 italian looking fellas hauling whiting, all well aged gentlemen,not to many recos got this one, 20 carbodies mostly kingswoods stacked 3 high,and been sitting in the water since the 70's or 80's so a well established wreck,that not to many fishos no about ,with all the technology and seabed mapping, radars ,word of mouth etc,most wrecks and drops and are unable to hide ,

Always drift if chasing squid .if your drift is slow cast away from the boat and retrieve back.and I also set my sounder .and sound the squid .

5 mins as your nearing the boat ramp 10 -14 knts should be enough to remove all scales without tenderising your fish, squid tubes only and as long as you can, basicly tenderises the tubes.make sure the scale bag has a float/buoy attached ,good luck

perfect weather for the port river mulloway ,1 bottle of your fav plonk, get a heap of live baits salmon trouts or mulletts are the best ,tie off on the L shape bridge directly across from the largs, taperoo,boat ramp.get your live baits at the L shape,there should be a beast or two out there still.

Hi snapper hunter, try point lowly as a start and sound around to locate fish ,most popular drops are well known and there are some gun marks south and can google most marks,and beware of the whites that been hanging in that area latley and good luck.

get your squid first thing in the morning ,pull up on your fav whiting hole or drop, i mainly fish tippara lighthouse area for whiting up to 60 cm. huge snook and huge squid,i do use a few pelletts for burley and clean your sqiud and put the guts and inners in your pot ,i find the burley will get the fish to the boat quicker,and some tide movement is when they are active and hungry .should be a few whiting around after the blow we just had .and good luck
