  1. I've had a fair bit of luck off the Moonta Jetty at night before on the snook using white flickbaits on a decent sized jighead cant remember what weight i use, but a quick jerky retrieve, like working a squid jag but slightly quicker is the go. Hope this helped!
  2. From what I've heard it's a prototype wave generator that was being towed from Pt Adelaide to be trialed somewhere and while towing something went wrong and they've basically abandoned it and wiped their hands clean. They being the company that built it.
  3. Had a cracker few sessions on the whiting and squid over at pt Hughes but the boat is out of action at the moment, ripping up and replacing the floor ready for summer as well as school has kept me off the water for a few months now, closest thing to fishing i've had was a quick couple hours on the OH breakwater picking up a few squid! Time to focus on another fun weekend with the diamond tip cutting blade and sanding disk, then another weekend filled with water and acetone followed by the joyous times lying ahead with resin and fibreglass
  4. That Stenhouse Gummy looks alright Flake and chips after that was caught I reckon!
  5. Hi all, heading over to Moonta caravan park for the first week of holidays, pretty soon now. Dragging my small tub over as well and the weather for the first couple days are looking pretty nice. I'll probably stick in the bay and was thinking about working some places like Cape Elizabeth for some whiting. Any hints and tricks on catching these buggers or any suggestions on other possible species that might be biting over there? Cheers guys
  6. Top cray mate! What weight did she come in at? Looks like someone else knows about your spot x and they screwed up the horn snare on that big bull! Tail snaring is the only way to do it aye! Might have to come over to that beautiful coastline for a dive one day!
