I cant compare as all the mullies I have caught here have been landbased and the black was taken from a boat in deep water but it did give me heaps on 50lb braid in 29 mtrs of water

No they arent {SMILIES_PATH}/wink.gifWhen they first come out of the water in appearance they look pretty well the same.If you touch them they feel like slimy not scaly like ours here.Within a very short time they go pretty dark hence the name black jewEating qualities -superb
