At present i have 2 dzen different braids from cheap to expensive..in the fireline i use crystal with good results on the bream,the 6lb super pe braided dyneema line is my personal fav . Stren micrcofuse 2lb no problems with windknotts and under 40 bucks is another worth trying...also using 6lb finns on lightsnapper setup,had this line on about 2 years without any probs.the theory don,t fix something that isn't broke is good.but trying something different is probably why you started using fireline.

try sinking crystal poppers...ive had best results on pink poppers when i lived in sydney. you'll pick up the odd lizard as well..1/2 to a 1m of water on the section bank over the tubeworm beds should get you a result
