  6. Hi All, About 7 years ago a friend of mine tought me to fly fish. A little while after that I was talking to another mate from Tasmainia telling him how I had just brought a rod and was getting into the sport. He offered another rod and reel for $50. So being cheap i thought why not (about 6yrs ago). To this day i still havn't put any line on it and i was thinking that i should. So i got it out to give it a clean and was thinking about when i got it, i remember my mate Tazzy telling me the bloke he got it from had a fair bit of cash and he didn't buy crap and based on that Tazzy thought this

On there website they also make golf clubs and i have also found some carrot stix horse whips but i'm not to sure if its the same company. They also have some a new rod called a micro guide. and from what i have found on the net these rods a even better. http://www.carrotstix.com/ This is the old guides compered to the new smaller ones. some people in the states were saying they were increasing there casting from about 35yrd to 45yrd. t

  14. Hi All, hope all is well, I'm after some help on finding something that will suit my needs. I am after a tackle box/bag that can hold my lures, leader, and all the odds and end you tack when you go fishing. plus i would like it to have some storage in it for walet/keys, drink, lunch. I'm after something small ish as i dont want to clutter the boat. I was looking at the TICA TMS 243 or 222.What do you use? Cheers Goldy
  15. Hi guys, I think thats what my uncle and I went and got out from under the mangroves at cowell. I dont know if there is any mangroves around where you are but if there is and you can brave the 1000's of flies we would go in during low tide and dig around the roots of the mangroves with a fork . From memory they were in less than a foot of sand. they were a great bait, whiting loved it.Goldy
