Hey GuysI went to the port today and it turned out to be both very lucky and unlucky! To make it short a solid ST presumably, decided to pull my little tierra 2000 setup over the side and into the water when I wasnt looking. I was so pissed after bout after about half an hour I reeled in my other big rod with my live bait ready to leave when I realised it had managed to tanlge itself around my lost rod, I couldnt believe how lucky I was, however it was under water for quite a while. I have down what I can do, but what is everyone's suggestions to save the reels internals or will it eventually

lol I am not sure if the payments will ever end!! Yeah either the bigger models handles would also be cool usually the 5000 size models and up have the egg shape, which feels and looks a bit better

yeah feels even better then it looks, haha I just went in to check it out because I knew it had recently come into rays and before I knew it it was on layby lol couldnt help myself, I am a weak man. Keen to give it a work out. If I find a suitable jigging master handle il let you know, because they are very similar reels.

I will actually be getting a rarerium c14 4000 in a few weeks and was thinking the same thing. If iam not mistaken mate I think the boys at rays said there are some options from the jigging master collection, but I am not to sure of the size.

Hey guysI am keen to try get out for a fish tomorrow coz its my day off work, but obviously want to avoid the areas were the fish are full with bloodworms. Do you think port norlunga would be worth a shot?

Ray and annes on facebook just showed the all new stradics aswell! Now I am not sure whether the thi new stradic will be better than the current c14. lol looks like I have to check out the sustain aswell, hopefully they will get them in soon

Hey GuysI follow the shimano fan page on facebook and they are saying in August they are releasing a number of new products including a replacement raider rod, but I cant find any other info on the net. Any idea what to expect?cheers Raider

Same guys i jus use the little zip lock bags I bought from a shop in the central markets, i dont worry to much bout card though if its a fresh rig they hardly get tangled to badly

a 3 second zap in the microwave gets them pretty lively again

The revolution T curves are pretty good man, I reckon I would stick with your 1st thoughts!

Sorry man Ive only fished the area with bait, I saw someone fish the area with shimano lucanus jigs but the only taker was a baracouta lol!

Hey GuysI have been checking out some tackle as late (nothing out of the usual)and for some reason a baitcaster setup seems rather appealing, they do appear better suited to chasing barraup north but i was keen to hear if any of you guys own one? What appilcations it best suited to? and if you actually like it?Cheers Raider

Hey guysI managed to get out for a bit of fishing last weekend, ended up on some rocks down south. Ive always been cautious about my shoe selection when rock fishing, but because of the fact I am still working in retail and I have sold heaps of Dunlop Volleys to roofers who swear by the amount of grip they have. So I dusted my old ones off and hit the rocks, I have to admit they were awesome and i didnt slip at all. Dont know if anyone agrees or disagrees but I think Dunlop volleys are a top shoe for jumping on the rocks.

Depends were your fishing mate, but I dont think you can go past a small metal halco and I havent had 2 bad luck on berkley minnows the blue and white coloured ones!

Yeah mate always plenty down there in the warmer months around trimmer, always found them harder to catch tho!
