  1. i also herd you can drop them straight down, hit the bottom put the rod in the holder and wind it up 1 metre off the bottom. the swell and waves will give it enough action :whistle:

  3. nice! never caught one before but its an awsome excuse to go out and have a flick with some lures . its an even better idea that it can go to a charity
  4. it is frustrating. i just wish i knew where to fish for the snapper. i dont get to go out to often but iam looking foward to finding some grounds to fish for snapper next month. all of mine will be catch and release as i dont eat fish. people always aks me why do i love fishing so much but dont eat fish. i guess i just love the feeling you get when you hook one

  8. hooked 2 stingrays (i think) but both busted me off, port jackson shark and 6 salmon trount. saw garfish swimming around our berley.
  9. looking to chase some snapper either the fairway beacon (shipping channel), glenelg barges or off o'sullies?. ive got the bait, its a long weekend now just hoping the weather is not to rough for my little boat. is anyone catching anything around these places? Cheers:cheer:

  14. hey just wondering whats the best knots to tie 80lb mono leader to 50 - 60lb braid main line . ive never used braid before so iam going to get some in the next few days, iam going to chase some kingies next week and would love if anyone could help with some tips. even things like brands and colours. cheers
