ok guys and gals just after your most memorable fishn moment/experience.mine came last year after purchasing my boat. i took it over to port victoria and got my first whiting in my own boat wasnt a monster just the feeling of launching, heading out anchoring,fishing then retrieving it all on my own at a reasonably busy ramp was shaking like a leaf through nerves but on the drive home thought how good it was to be finally doing what i love in my own tub. any way thats my favourite moment so far so please share your stories cheers 4THA.

i know a pro ab diver down elliston he has 2 sons that work with him we were down there when a shark took one of their mates from blackfellows point whilst surfing september 2000.these blokes see it all whilst down there they have full head to toe wet suits to stop them from leather jacket bites any exposed skin gets smashed the dad has alot of scarring on side of his head next to were mask is one of the only exposed pieces of skin is.he took us out in one of his cats 30 footer drifting for snapper we got a panny but after a nite on the sauce i werent to flash and had to head behind one of the islands. after a few more technicolor yawns :sick: :sick: we tried and got are limit of kg's he was telling us at the spot we got the panny he regularly sees masses of reds and sometimes they school up and it looks like a wall of snapper he said when they form this wall it usually signalled a shark was in the area.i got to see my first grey suit a few months back around 4-4.5 mtr job similar size to witch allegedly took this man yesterday they are amazing creatures and im fascinted by them have got a cage dive in the pipeline hoping to do in next few yrs :pinch: :pinch: .anyhow sad to hear of this attack and an obvious risk to take.thoughts go out to family and friends :( .

heading towards st kilda its on the left hand side there is a shabby sign next to the road.approx 2klms?mates cooker holds 40 crabs was from an old food processing place he got it for his crays.yeah would only be able to steam a few at a time but i usually only eat max 5 fresh at any 1 timewe usually come in when we get 30/40 between mate and i keep 10 each for fresh then give remainder to others like family etc to enjoy.

wasnt sure if ya had a special set up for em was thinkin bowl with boiled water towell over it and a bit of vicks and maybe some lemon :) will give it a crack hoping to go tumurra or thurs cheers.

shimano just released new t-curve "revolution" travellers series they got a 3 & 4 piece one out i want to get me self one just dont have the $$$ dubs the tackle man is very good with his knowledge on the t-curves maybe pop in and see him?
