  2. I'm more worried about that fact it can take its quota from one area with one swoop. Considering the biomass ranges from the wa to qld/NSw border. It's quota is 18000 but it can hold 19000. What's to stop it taking its Quota from one area and wiping out said areas population of fish?

    I've seen an 8 kg snapper landed from the rocks bout half way along near the old landing. I think it was a landing. I believe there is fish caught there regularly in the right conditions.

  15. Ive never got a flatty there but theres plenty of bream and the odd mully if you put the hours in soaking live bait. Should b plenty of st about to keep u occupied if u set some berly going. Try the gates at bower rd for a starting point. Or near the bridge at the Bartley tavern.
  16. have u cuaght bream and flathead from mawson lakes?if ur chasing bream. better off hitting up west lakes or the port. from what i hear should be some around down st kilda breakwater. if not now soonish.

  19. a wise fella once told me. put the squidgy s-factor on every lure u throw in the water. didnt work for hardbodys. but works for softies.for sts. gulp baby shrimp or squidgy wrigglers in bloodworm with a 1/32 weight jig head or lgither will get u hooked up mate. just watch ur line as it sinks and wen it acts wierd ur getting a hit and lift up into it.
  20. i saw one that came with its own handline. not a round one but a different sought. would be handy i reckon. you wouldnt even need to rig it up to a rod just drop it over the side. tie it up till it felt full then pull her back in.

  22. as of last weekend i use squidgy wriggler in bloodowrm in 80mm on a nice light jig head and just let it float down the berley trail. they smash em pretty quick and no rebaiting
  23. yer. ive fished out of ards and most weight ive needed so far is 1oz. but if we head around wedge way do u think the current will b a bit stronger. yer i like the idea sambo. i got smashed and broken off out of wirrina with a 7inch gulp on my top hook and a cube of slimy mack down the bottom. coulda been either but money was on th egulp
