Nice 1 jimbo thats the problem we have getting the live baits.We quite often go down sullys boat ramp at night and dab a whole lot of tommies as there is no legal length on them and they stay alive a long while and are quite livley. We have used fresh squid often with quite a lot of success but still dosent beat a good live bait.Best mully so far in the onka is 12.6lb but have only landed 11 legal ones in 30 odd years of fishing for them.Most fish are in the 60 to 70cm range.Have had the odd bigger one on only for them to spit the bait at the side of the boat as setting the hooks is difficult

just a couple of reds caught just of hallet cove the biggest was 13.6 kgs and 106 cms

nice fish but just hope they went back in as the legal length is 75cm and I only mention that as I here all the time of smaller ones taken with the old saying O I thought it was 46cm wich is coorong only and those live baits have to be of legal size as well (not the shitties)shame about the lost one unlucky

the ray im not sure about as there are so many and i find it dificult to tell untill they get larger but the small shark looks like a southern spotted cat shark but dont quote me on that .I have caught many spotted cat sharks (identified in my fishes of south australia book) from rappid bay/screwpile and most K I jettys.Hope this was some help

not real big on the lure fishn but most of the basic bream lures are working both soft and hard bodied. catchen most on unweighted prawns.

plenty of big bream in the onka at moment from comercial road bridge all the way up to perrys bend along river road also plenty of tommies in the sullys boat harbour at night

Are we talking boat or landbased ??? If you let me know I hopefulley can put you on to a feed as im fishing both land based and boat all the time and I work down sullys boat harbour so I get good imfo on whats around on a day to day basis
