Good luck......by then you'll probably have to dodge half the Japanese whaling fleet and the Rainbow Warrior.......let alone all the "sight-seers" looking for it....
That's the way I have always done it,except I normally do steaks or cutlets, with no problems. The sharks that I choose to eat are in the 4 foot or less catergory as well.Less chance of mercury build up within their system.
Personally,I tend to stay at home on the Easter long week - end.I have never fancied becoming a statistic due to anothers' carlessness on the road.Hopefully those that get away, will have a safe journey, and enjoy their much deserved break.
The 8144 is a great no nonsense style of rod,and will take anything that comes it's way.Yes,they are heavier than "today's" rods, but at their cost effective pricing, you won't be scared to use them to their potential
My thoughts are the 8144 would be too heavy for the 760 but I could be wrong. You will need a bigger reel to fish that rod to it's full potential eg 950 spinfisher.
There's always fish around, you just have to be prepared to find them;mind you,the more odds you can get into your favour the better.A bit like people plying golf. You have to get the ball into the hole.........that's only as hard as you wish to make it.
