First thing you should do is to create a photobucket account. Photobucket.com is an international site that is free to join and allows members to upload photos and videos from their own computer files to the internet. After a fishing session, the first thing I do is to plug my camera into the computer and save the photos I want for my report onto my desktop. It looks like this:Then, I log into my photobucket account here:Next, click on the green 'upload' button:Then, select the file/s you wish to upload to the internet:Next, wait for it to upload:When it comes to inserting pictures into a report or a signature icon in your profile, it's best to copy the image's IMG code on photobucket: (eg. )before pasting it as an attachment file or a link in your post (It will look like a link to a website at first, but once you look back at your post afterwards, you will notice that it is, in fact, a picture):It's always good to include pics in your posts cause I guess it adds that bit more and where necessary, pics provide evidence of your catch.Good luck with it.Cheers.

That's pretty cool. That whole area off the Great Barrier Reef is like that though isn't it?Pretty good advertisement for Nomad charters there.

Don't let a few comments keep your reports of this site JH. I reckon many other site users (like me) enjoy reading about your efforts.Next time SS and AFF maybe just ask whether he was in a boat or on the land before commenting based on assumptions. (Not having a crack).KEEP THE PEACE.......PS: Well done JH.all i did was post a quick report of wat we caught and people always have something negative to say! so im gonna keep my pics and reports off here cheers

Just had a look at it then. Looks like a beefy rod that's for sure.Just wondering how much Ray and Anne's sold it to you for?Good luck with your snapps.

Some really nice footage there guys. Those fish looked great and fought hard. Nice job.

Great work JJ and Flubba. That's a really nice bream by the way JJ. Nice fish to flubba as well.

Do you know what the rod's line class is rated at? Probably needs to be around the 15-24kg mark?In terms of locations for sharking I would say the more popular spots in the metro area are Semaphore, Henley and Grange.ive got a 6ft overhead boat rod 50lb braid sambo 3000 reel it holds about 400m of line

What sort of gear do you have? Before you start fishing you should probably visit a tackle shop and try and organise a strong, heavy- duty combo that will be able to handle sharks off the land.

Great work jumbo. Bet Brodie would have been thrilled about being put onto a fish like that for the first time. Awesome video too.

Just had a bit of a look at it and here's a bit more info. These include:basic tips on fishingfish species information/ sizes/ bag limitsweather updates/ fishing spots offshore and inshore near your locationa list of just about every fishing spot in australiaa map section where you can find your way to the spotsThe other cool thing about it is that it has a GPS feature that enables you to plot on a map, where your favourite fishing spots are.Obviously you need to have a phone with internet capabilities to full utilize this app.Cheers

Nice fish mate. Would've pulled a bit on fly tackle that's for sure. Great work. You must be proud as punch Did it rain down that way?

Great work jimbo. Mullies and a few over 35cm bream sounds like a really successful session.

Learned a load of stuff on this site. I reckon it's great. After hearing people talking about the use of unweighted baits, I decided to give it a bit of a go. The result? My first legal bream caught on pilchards!More recently, guys like rickster have helped me out and I now have a mully set up that I feel comfortable with.I love logging on and looking at the fantastic results many of our guys gave here on the site. I feel honoured to be a part of such a great group of guys.

Don't you hate it when you catch something off a metropolitan jetty only to turn around and find yourself being questioned by some pot shot idiot who is trying to show off to his mates about how good he is at fishing.Well it pisses me off that's for sure.

In terms of rods, I would probably go for a Daiwa Saltiga G Boat rod. It looks pretty good and is made up of quality components. SAG70MHRS is the rod's code name. It is rated 15-30lb and it is a 7 ft rod with 7 guides so when a big fish tries to lunge underneath the boat, you can manouver it back out into the safety of the landing net. More details can be found at:http://www.daiwa.com/Rod/ However, if you are a shimano man the best option in my opinion would be a Jewel. Aesthetically, they look slick and they have the balls to handle pretty large fish like snapps and mullies. And for $100 on motackle, they're an absolute steal.http://www.shimanofish.com.au/publish/content/global_fish/en/au/index/products/rods/bait_fishing/jewel.htmlGood luck with it.opinions plese.Have not chose a rod yet.
They call it the "Mobile Bommie"

Well I think all schools of pelagic fish move like that. I don't know whether it was just a coincidence or not but usually the schools dart this way and that anyway. Yeah, the camera would look unnatural, but when fish (especially like GTs) school, they grow in confidence and aggressively smash anything.
