  1. You never know Brazino depending on what sort of soft plastic fisho you are (Squidgies or Gulp). Just drop down a slick rig or a big flickbait you never know mate!!
  2. Not sure if this is something you would be looking for but the New Inshore Revolution TCurves are good: http://www.anglerswarehouse.com.au/product_detail.asp?productnospaces=shimano_t_curve_revolution_inshore_732_spin_ultra_light_rod_3256
  3. Yes definitely TonyB that could be a bass. Some pics may shed some light:
  4. Pumba this may help. With the patterns http://lureandmore.com/viewtopic.php?f=412&t=5071
  5. Yep I am same as Breambo, I use a high sierra backpack. Lightweight, plenty of storage, heavy duty and quite waterproof!!
  6. Oh sorry mate wasn't paying enough attention to the post my bad!!!
  7. Hey Woody like you I am only new to shark fishing but I would recommend something like Shimano Backbone Elite for the Boat: http://www.anglerswarehouse.com.au/products.asp?categorynospaces=shimano_backbone_elite_rods_241
  8. Yep have to agree with Breambo and Ben M here! A technique I use with being heavily snagged don't flick the rod erratically just hold the rod parallel to the water, while holding the spool of the reel. The weed should either drag or away. Or you will bust your line, which is better than busting your rod I guess!!
  9. jewieHunter I am not sure about this but it looks like a silver perch!

    Braid

Good Luck in Yorkes Spog777!! I must say I was a bit wary at the start like you when it came to fishing braid. But let me say I will never go back to mono!! I love they way theres no stretch, casts like a bullet and for strentgh to diameter is just amazing. It is that bit more expensive but when it comes down to it, I don't mind spending the money!!!

    Rapala Squid Jigs:

I certainly agree _Matt_ . I just thought when I saw it that there is some squidding fanatics especially with the new EGI techniques, on this site that may like to know!
  13. Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know Rapala have developed a new Squid Jig called the Idako Jig. This attached photo is stolen from the Rapala Australia Facebook page. They say it has SWS swing weight system meaning the weight is inside. They say more info will be released closer to launch. Will post more info if I find out. Also that rod in the picture is the Okuma X fatcor 802 light Squid Rod.
  14. I second what Breambo said the 100mm and 80mm bloodworm and wasabi wrigglers are my go - to Onk squidgies. But also a range of hard bodies e.g. the Halco scorpion 35mm are handy to have too!!
  15. cheers breambo already set up the wire trace will head out later this arvo!
  16. Wow that looks like a ripper! Cheers UHF
  17. Hey everyone just wondering I am doing some fishing for Rays and possibly Sharks this weekend. What way when there is no real drag do you guys set the hook. I am not 100 percent sure. I just thought back drag off when the fish starts running with bait. Grab rod, lock up drag and strike hard. Help would be awesome!!

    Juro Tackle

Ok thanxs Lofty, yer not sure if they have changed them since you used it. I actually picked some up from the Fishing Wholesaler at Lonsdale here in Adelaide. They look ok actually, I have Yo Zuris and not as greater quality but still look the goods. Don't mind buting them for $6 when yo zuris are $20 to $25. I will give them a go next time I am squidding. Take two rods one with a Yo Zuri and one with the Juro and see how they go. You just never no with squid on the day!!

    Juro Tackle

Hey everyone, just wondering has anyone used any of the Juro squid jigs? Cheers!
  20. Hi Breambo25, In the latest SA angler they talk about the Torrens and briefly talk about flyfishing it. If not they will take small hard bodies. Hope this helps!!
  21. 5 turns surgeons is the knot I use. Small, tight, runs through guides smoothly and so easy to tie in the hand!!
