  1. i love my alvey, ive fished it from the boat, jetty, beach, rocks and cliffs. its a 650 that i picked up for $40 bucks off my old mans mate. not a thing wrong with it either.
  2. the longer breakwater at the ramp has alot of snook around the inside when theyre in season and salmon on the outside of the longer breakwater.
  3. ate one when we caught a few on yorkes. did nothin special to it but skin it when we got home, tasted just like normal shark to me really. found out later on that they were pretected. might just be in vic or sumin tho?

  7. that spot were u got that little schooly is really good luke if its where i think it is, ive heard that the platics work really well there. ive been to that spot once before and we got 2, 120cm and 100cm on dead garfish.
  8. what pound line would use use on your reel and what pound leader? i do more fishing in the port too.

  11. your lucky urs was only chipped like that. i dropped mine and it split not so much through the middle but a decent way in and from side to side. the alveys are the best! hope she works out well for you.
  12. i know this isnt the biggest callop, its the only one ive caught, it was caught on a shrimp in blanchetown.
  13. this one was my biggest until yesterday, this one was caught on the weekend, was 120cm wide. the one yesterday, unfortunately got no photos of it but was 125cm wide.
