Mickyj don't write those SPs off mate. I would not have choosen to buy them myself, but a mate gave them to me to try and they have been doing real well. I just read boomas reply Zmans slim swimz is like a fish caught bream salmon trout whiting mullet on them the whiting and mullet were tiny I caught four salmon trout yesterday on savage soft plastics that you colour in with pens

try some zman slim swims try different colours besides motor oil

Tried it this morning only one hit think it was a large looking blue crab filleting it lol

Funny you should say that HB i tried them one day never got a touch or hit on a hardbody it was the trip after you asked me did I get more fish on plastics or hardbodies Plastics is my way now I think lol

They are a darker green than a motor oil with red sparkles . I've spoken to people who say match your hatch motor oil matches bait fish I've landed bream STs on some sparkled zman grubs one never got a hit . Weeks ago I bought a blue shimmer one used it one session nothing but amongst the bait fish I reckon whatever was there was hitting it roughly 12 times . Sometimes you got to think out side the box And the sparkles worked really good fishing the Shadows or cast in a shadow move to the sun into the next shadow bam sometimes lol. And I've got more bream bottom bouncing the zman s rat

True been three years since my last schoolies First hit take spit on a plastic by a schoolie And the strength in that fish small as it was lol

I got a shock getting a schoolie on one but lost it .

Is it just me or have the bream gone off the motor oil colour Grubs Lately i have had more action on Watermelon grubs Bream STs some small fish i couldn't tell what jumping out the water and dropped a 30cm schoolie . Anyone else getting less on motor oil or am i just chasing fusy bream lol

This may seem strange not knowing if your using a plastic or hardbody If you see them yes they see you Put the lure past the bream sometimes there will be bream in front or behind the bream who see you . I hope that makes sense Always be careful of snags like rocks ect

bream normally wont hit a lure on a leader heavier than 6 lb if you see Bream swimming near the edge they normally see you and normally wont hit a lure . havent used a cranka crab plastics best ive landed 38cm bream hardbody on bream same Same hardbody lure got me schoolies biggest going 40cm not bad by catch All on 6lb leader 6lb braid

My imfo the pat is quiet for Bream at present they are around but hard to find for some fishos but that is lure fishers
