  9. Bit of a long shot but someone might know.Mrs Tyke and I are off on a decadent cruise around Fiji and Vanuatu soon.It was a bargain and we are in an interior cabin which will drive me crazy - hopefully the 24 hours bars will have windows :DI am not paying $400 for 3 hours "Organised" fishing by booking with the travel company.I know I will get the itch to try my hand at fishing up there.Thought I'd try and have a look for a local charter.Has anyone tried one of the local charters / organised something themselves???Appreciate any tips!Don't think P&O Cruiselines will appreciate me trying t
  10. Fishy has the right idea with the tougher Snapper bones and areas - Tin snips!I'm keeping my eye out for some professional chicken shears - they will be the way to go.
  11. :icon_lol:When I'm ot doing it :DI'd be careful with using woodworking machinery, the blades may have a few toxic substances upon them + a lot of wood has arsenic in it so if the machine has chewed a lot of wood???
  12. I am smoking my own now.It is well worth it.Smoked some wings from some big Snaps last week - tasted great using chips from old American wine barrels - from Anglers Choice. The texture was like chicken! :icon_e_biggrin: :icon_e_biggrin:
