ChuckTseeker 425
i use a Stanley knife blade to just open the ring a little, get the old hook in then put the new hook behind it and then spin them round, old hook falls off, new hook into place ;)cheers chuck

Buff 0
You don't say what size split ring/lure you trying to change but if its bream size lures most are fitted with size "0" or size "1" split rings and I have found a pear of SMITH Split Ring Pincette http://www.australianangling.com.au/products/acce/index.html work very well and are quite easy to use.I have a pair I take with me all the time as its easy to change trashed trebles when I'm shore basing or out in the kayak :icon_e_smile:
David Ciaravolo 34
I'll Second that Buff. Best little oddball tool ever! Its all i use on small split rings now, and because they are so easy you think nothing of changing hook sizes, gauge and split ring sizes. Neva thought a split piece of steel could be so bloody useful!
mullies_chaser 0
I can't seem to find them on ebay.. anyone know where I could get them?
Buff 0
Most Good tackle shops will stock them :icon_e_wink:For what they cost in the shops, buying them on the net the postage would negate the savings
troppo65 0
Got mine at Angler's Choice, as Buff said best things ever for little lures
