Tacklebags 404 Posted January 30, 2013 Report Share Posted January 30, 2013 Thanks rotare...Brian Jefferies posted a response to a Greenpeace rep 'Nathaniel Pelle' recently (below) about the 3 fold difference in model predictions compared to the actual stock biomass.Greenpeace still seek to shut down the SBT industry here in OZ and are clinging to old information and typical IUCN listings to support such a closure. Many areas claiming the SBT as endangered by the IUCN are NSW etc where SBT only ever held short seasons due to water temperatures.Meanwhile, I have my Marion Bay charters booked in so I am looking forward to catching my first SBT in a couple of months.
