CallopHunter 1
Kato fluro yellow 8lb, off the rocks, works well, highly recommended!
screamin seamen 1
B)I've been using lately Fireline exceed 2.5kg .. super thin, knots well & casts beautifully & doesn't seem to fluff up like the old fireline..
NickD 0
I use Sunline super PE in 6lb, it's not much more expensive than fireline and is super thin and smooth so it casts well. I also use 4lb rovex flourocarbon as leader, I find that I get more hits the lighter the leader, and never seem to struggle to pull in big bream.
Piranha 76
for braid used for hardbodies and blades I use 10lb sunline castaway PE.6For plastics I use sunline Momentum 4x4 10lb PE.6 in high vis yellow.Leaders vary between 4-6lb sunline rockfish or V-hard depending on the structure i'm fishing. All these lines aren't for the budget conscious being at the high end of the market but the performance and long life-span make them well worth the $ cheers
talbo 0
8lb Sunline Super PE and either Sunline FC Rock or V Hard 3-5lb FC leader Juninho
brenton 637
8lb Sunline Super PE and either Sunline FC Rock or V Hard 3-5lb FC leaderwhat he said.
Station49 33
Ive got a few different ones on different reels, but they are generally a mix of TD Sensor in 8lb and Sunline Super PE in 6lb.Leaders - not too fussy personally about the various flouros out there. I like the Nitlon gear though, knots well, holds up to rough stuff well and no memory.
piratepom 3,197
6lb Fireline and 6lb Berkley Vanish flourocarbon leader atm, I like the Berkley Sense and the Sunline flourocarbon too. Fireline has been on there for approx 3 years with no worries, but it is starting to get low.
Yakmando 49
Gosen mebarin pe 0.4. So thin. Has 8lb braking strain, but is as thin as 2lb platypus. Platypus is my favourite conventional braid though. Has great knot strength compared to the gosen. Gosen is not for the budget though!
