fred 1
I've tried the s factor on my squid jags. And i agree...It really worksI've seen fish chasing the jag when it's near the boat also.I am also a fan of the stimulate spray on squid jags

brenton 637
WHAT THE HECK IS S FACTOR? never heard of it...It comes in a sachet with packets of Squidgy Pros...S/Ps cheers brenton
benny 1
Another way is to go fishing at the same time and when you hook up a fish let it struggle at the surface to tease the squid, and if they around let them grab it for a sec or two and then pull the fish up and quickly drop a jig down...results guaranteed(especially when they are finicky, I tried this at Tumby Bay and it works!) Ratchet 0
Cheers,I'll remember that tip for when they go off the bite. Here's another,When squidding keep a lure close in, because sometimes the squid are really aggressive and will follow a hooked squid all the way in as you retrieve it. I did this the other day and it was funny to watch as a squid came after a hooked squid pulled along the surface to fight over the jag and then it saw my other jag in close and nailed it instead.HTHRatchet
