Having chased striped bass for several years I can assure you that it is rarely that easy. On average though they are somewhat simpler to catch than mulloway, especially the schoolies, but I think most of that is due to the sheer numbers of stripers vs. mullies, although the big fish in the 50lb+ bracket would be just as rare as they are here, maybe even more so. I miss having something like live eels for bait though, they are super tough, easy to keep alive for weeks at a time and the fish love them. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
