snapper_hunter 28
Over the next few days the winds are going to be light around Pirie, Weeroona Island and was thinking of squid fishing, it is best to drift with the tide or drop anchor.
JAYMAN 137
Always drift if chasing squid .if your drift is slow cast away from the boat and retrieve back.and I also set my sounder .and sound the squid .
Scissors 308
800m out directly in line with the main road of weerona X stick area drifting / anchor doesnt really matter out there you have a reference point. You will likely pick up a few whiting in the sandpatches but size might by iffy

snapperhead 523
I always start around the X stick on the drift as Scizzors said and I usually fish the incoming tide early afternoon with success this time of year cheers snapps
