reelin 2
Hi guys Just a quick question regarding squid! Are they caught more prominantly in clear sunny conditions or can you catch them in overcast windy conditions? or does it matter at all?

ltfish 0
Hi reelin caught two today in rough conditions using a little bright green yo-zuri.
vanders 0
i personally think clear water is the go, but a light breeze over the surface seems to be better than mirror calm conditions, for me. if its flat as a tac they are there but thats when i find them the most touchy with taking the jigs. fullysikwog 6
ive found just clear water man, with a nice high tide to be the best, best jig would be a white 1.

Softy 2,991
Let us know how you go, Wind will be 100% wrong for when i fish there, tho it might be a different story with squid?
bluey68 2
I always use a tommie teaser under a torpedo float to get the attention of squid. When a squid is attacking the tommie I'll take the tommie out the water and put down my yozuri squid jag.I like to fish a rising tide with the hour before and hour after the run out tide to be the most productive.I use this technique mainly on jetties ,when I,m in my boat I'll drift and use a marker bouy when I come accross a patch.Clear water is best.good luck
