Boyington214 0
Makes two of us Lester. I'm keen to learn a few spots too. I have tried Hallett Cove for Whiting (hit and miss) and some of the wider drops. Still learning myself too.
spog777 1
Ive fished here all my life and as a shore based fishy even im having trouble getting a feed this year. The tommies should be starting to have a go on most local jetties, the ST's are still busy in the port and st kilda and west lakes is always a go try anytime.

dutchxfisher 18
what lures for the breambos in the onk should i use this time of the year?
domdriller 1
not real big on the lure fishn but most of the basic bream lures are working both soft and hard bodied. catchen most on unweighted prawns.
jagger 24
Just a reminder for anyone thinking of fishing the Onk for bream.....There is still a Bream ban on from upstream South Road Bridge as they are breeding. let them be to do their thing and we will all have plenty of fish in the onk for years to come.Should still be plenty of St's around the onk mouth on crommies and platics as well.
